Heart's Desire is comprised of 12 songs, all written and performed by Charly. Charly also co-produced the CD, with renown producer and multi-instrumentalist, Marty Rifkin. The songs, primarily upbeat, have a refreshing diversity from one song to the next and are sure to get you dancing! Styles range from the bluegrass-with-a-modern-edge title cut, "Heart's Desire"; to the bluesy, R&B flavored ballad, "Since You Went Away". "Dancin' Tonight" is a swing toe-tapper and "Turnip Truck" is brooding and groove-laden.
